Some of the common problems with washing machines can include;

• No power to the machine; this can be caused by an off-balanced machine or a faulty power point. Before getting a technician out to look at the machine, make sure you check the power point is not the issue.
• Excessive vibration; This could mean that you have worn damper or snubber pads. It could also mean that the machine is not level on the floor. Check you don't have a weak spot in the floor that could be causing the machine to be out of balance.
• Water is not draining properly; This could indicate  there is an issue with the pump or the drive belt. It could also indicate that the drain hose is obstructed by something.
• Washing machine leaks; Numerous problems can cause your machine to leak. Soap buildups, loose fittings, clogged hoses and leaking pumps or tubs could be to blame for a leak.
